This beautiful Connecticut wedding cake consists of eight round tiers. Each tier was covered in white Swiss fondant brushed with pearl dust and finished with black pressed lace fondant borders. The hand-crafted sugar flowers cascading from the top and middle cake tiers consist of roses, peonies, sweet peas, hydrangeas, and lilies in hot pink shades. As a finishing touch to the wedding cake, a custom monogram plaque with the couple's initials was carefully piped and painted in silver dust. Photography: Bryan Avigne.
